What is Surfbuddy?
Surfbuddy is a free widget to help you share your web surfing links with your friends, family or work colleagues.
Just download the free widget and whenever you are surfing on the web and you find a great site you can easily send it to your friends or colleagues. Faster than loading up your email client and not reliant on them being online with messenger, the Surfbuddy is just quick and simple.
Once you have registered you can add your friends to your groups to start sending them links as soon as you find them when you surf. For the advanced user use the API to suit your tastes in any way you like.
Why is Surfbuddy different from the other social bookmarking sites? Well we wanted to send links just to our friends, we don't really see the need to share our links with strangers, nor are we particularly interested in what other people are looking for. Sure, it is a great way to highlight breaking sites, but we have our favourite blogs, commentary sites and news alerts for that. So the aim was to keep Surfbuddy nice and simple.

Surfbuddy came about from a need to have a quick and simple way to send links of interest to our friends and colleagues.
- Surf history, we are soon going to roll out an extra feature for Surfbuddy where you can if you want store all the history of your sharing on the site.
- Surfbuddy API, you will be able to use the Surfbuddy API to examine your account and find out your history.
- Surfbuddy Twitter, we are building in the Twitter API so you can use your Twitter account to send around your links too.
